The theme has been inspired from the five rings of the Olympic logo, which are meant to depict the five continents - the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia.

The logo is also a graphic depiction of five petals, each in a vibrant colour, of India’s National Flower – the Lotus.

The Logo has been designed by Lt Col H Padmanabhan of the Corps of Signals of the Indian Army.

Mascot for 4th CISM Military World Games is a stylized great Indian Bison nick named 'BRAVO' .
Indian Bison is an endangered herbivore commonly known in India as GAUR. It is majestic, imperturbable and is treated with healthy respect in animal kingdom.
It is generally calm and peace loving. But when provoked, its spurt, ferocity and speed of charge spreads terror on its opponents. These characteristics are very similar to teh reputation of Indian Armed Forces

The Mascot has been designed by Lt Col H Padmanabhan of the Corps of Signals of the Indian Army.
