All aquatic sports will be organized at Gachibowli GMCB Aquatics Complex which has the following characteristics:
- Competition Pool: 50 X 25 X 2 meters
- Warm up pool: 25 x 15 x 1.5 meters
- Diving pool: 25 x 25 x 4,50 meters
- 3 springboards: 1m , 3m , 10m
- Outdoor pools with lightings
- Capacity 2000 seats
- 2 change rooms 17x6.80 meters fully equipped
- Medical and massage rooms
For Water-polo Championship the number of 8 men teams was agreed.
Swimming, Diving and Waterpolo are three separate competitions ruled by the FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation Amateur). Competitions will be organised according to the FINA hand book.

For football men tournament, the teams will be selected by a Preliminary round on continental level. For the others the TC Concerned will prepare a ranking list of classification which shall take into account the last 5 years participations (including 2006). This list will be handed over to all listed nations by the end of 2006. The Teams qualified shall sign a compromise of participation signed by the Chief of Delegation during the CISM GA 2007. When a nation qualified does not sign the compromise, or decides not to participate, the next team listed in the ranking shall be invited to replace the withdrawn team.
